Omaha Is Overflowing With Great Wedding Venues

When it comes to fantastic wedding venues, Omaha in Nebraska has a huge range of options. This modern city on the Missouri River has a lot to offer for couples searching for the perfect place to get married, including golf courses, hotels, gardens, churches and banquet halls.

Here are five of the best wedding venues in Omaha, and this is just the beginning. Your online search will lead you to many more chic places to tie the knot.

The Field Club of Omaha is a private luxurious country club with a history dating back to 1898. You can have your wedding ceremony outdoors in a beautiful grassy area or indoors if preferred. The wide-open spaces are wonderful for wedding videography, especially at golden hour (that’s around sunset for non-photographer types). The ballroom is modern and stylish and connects to the veranda overlooking the golf course, so you have an effortless indoor-outdoor space that is epic in summer.

Hotel Deco in downtown Omaha is a stunning wedding venue. It's hard to say what is more exciting - the venue or the surroundings, which include the iconic Orpheum Theatre and historic Old Market district. The quaint cobblestone streets with shops and art galleries offer a backdrop for your wedding video that is really special. The hotel oozes art deco glamor that is very easy to fall in love with. You can probably tell it's one of my favorite Omaha wedding venues.

Villa Aletta is another beauty to consider for your best day ever. If you are looking for an elegant place with the finest Italian cuisine, it is worth a close look. The ceremony space is amazing and the villa can cater for large groups or intimate gatherings. Every wedding here looks different because it is a versatile space to style.

The Diamond Room is a banquet and event facility with a trendy industrial vibe. This unique space in north downtown Omaha is a great venue if you want a high-energy celebration with lots of fun and dancing. The prices are affordable and the staff is really into doing weddings, so it's a great place to say your “I dos” then party the night away.

If you want a venue to surprise your guests, Anthony's Steakhouse has hosted many amazing weddings. You can exchange your vows outside next to the pretty waterfall, then move inside to the grand ballroom, which can be styled easily to any wedding theme. While having a wedding at a steakhouse is an unexpected move, it is a lovely venue with everything set up perfectly for weddings of all sizes.

If you have guests coming from out of town, there is plenty to see and do in Omaha, NE, before and after the wedding day. The Durham Museum, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, The Old Market, and Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium are all great sights to explore together.

Are you considering getting married in Omaha, NE and looking for a wedding videographer? Or are you planning your big day in the surrounding areas such as Lincoln, Blair, Bellevue, or Council Bluffs.
